So this is Christmas....

My first Christmas was excellent! I got to see all of my favorite people. Did you know that Uncle Robert and Aunt Megan can make me laugh just by looking at me?!? I got to see Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Robin, Uncle Robert, Aunt Megan!

Early Christmas Presents

One of mommies work friends bought me some really cute sweaters for Christmas, they are size 18 months and boy do I look cute in them!

My first word

Well, mom is convinced that I said my first word today, she and dad had a long talk about it when he got home from work, they still can't decide if they are going to count it or not. I started waving a couple of days ago and mom thinks she hears me say bye bye as I wave (which would coincide with the fact that Miss Anita says I wave to all of the kids as they leave). Waving

So today I waved for the first time. Shhh...Mommy and Daddy haven't seen it, but Miss Anita told mommy all about it.

And Mommy and Daddy keep talking about the fact that I am teething...it hurts lots and I love my teething rings, especially when they come from the freezer.

Other updates, I have started to say da, muh and ba. And reaching up to get picked up. I started playing with the Xbox...no not the games just the xbox it has pretty glowy light!! So much fun!

Pizza Night

So for my 7 Month Birthday....oh wait for our Christmas Party with my best friends Madalyn and Sophia, we got together at Madalyn's house and the parents made Pizza from scratch (the dough was super yummy!!)

Christmas Pictures

Last week while mommy was off work we went in to visit and take some pictures by the pretty pretty trees. I was being slightly difficult by not sitting and only wanting to stand but I think the pictures turned out pretty well :D

Mommy said she can't believe how full it is this year and we still have a month to go! Mommy keeps telling Daddy we are going to have to get a bigger tree next year!!

Santa

So Sunday, Mom and Dad took me to see a big guy dressed in all red, they called him Santa. They told me he gets me presents and fills my stocking on Christmas (little do they know I have been listening to them shop shop shop and watched them pick up stuff for me saying they hope I forget). Breakfast for Dinner

Tonight, since Daddy still wasn't feeling the greatest (he got our flu), Mommy took me to IHOP for dinner with my friend Sophia and her big brother Ben (Their mommy Erica and mommy's friend Sara came too) While the grown-ups chatted and put food on Sophie's face...

I ate some baby snacks and some sweet potatoes with apples. Mommy got this dinner she called pancakes with Strawberries and Bananas (since it was Strawberries she wouldn't let me try :( )

But Miss Sara (Madalyn's mom Sara not my mom Sara) gave me two spoons and I got to pound on the table with them!

We were sad that Madalyn couldn't make it tonight but I will get to see her on Tuesday! But Madalyn did buy me a present....new pajamas!!! I am so excited AND they have a MONKEY on them!! YAY!!

The Flu

So, Monday morning I was as always rudely awaken at 5:45 am. Those people that call themselves my parents (I call them slaves) got me all ready for my day and gave me my bottle (in their bed! The one that calls herself Mommy was complaining that she didn't feel so great, but she had a busy day at work so she kept saying she had to go in), about 1/2 way through the bottle my stomach started making horrible noises and I made a huge mess of their bed, my clothes and the one that calls himself Daddy! So Mom decided she and I would stay home for the day. We put back on our PJ's and curled up and took a nice little nap. I felt horrible all morning, but slowly I started feeling so I decided that it was time to play. Unfortunately, mom still felt horrible (she looked it too!) and didn't want to play. Since this wasn't satisfactory to me, I finally convinced her to have dad come home early from work to play with me!

Lucky for me, Tuesday, I got to go on with my usual routine and go see my weekday slave and the boys that play with me all day long and Mommy, mommy tried to go to work, but when we came home we found her back in bed....Poor Mommy slave.

Girls Night In

So tonight I went to my friend Sophie's house (Mommy and Daddy came too and say they had something called "taco night" I truly don't get it.....parents....) and Madalyn was there too! Here we are all waiting for dinner, it was Edemame and Cauliflower and Sweet Potatoes and Pears. We ate really good! Miss Erica, please give mommy your recipe for the Edemame/Cauliflower!

And here is Sophia, but Mommy kept calling her little Erica, cause she looks just like her mommy (well when she doesn't have that Paci in her mouth -- she's a paci-addict!)

Here is my mommy she is holding all three of us and saying this is what it would be like if she had triplets (I am saying thank goodness she didn't because other kids are great to visit, but I like my alone time AND having my parents to myself!!)

Here I am, sad to say I was the last baby standing, all of them crashed out and went to bed, but me, I wanted to hang out and listen to the adults talk about politics and stuff.

I can't wait until next month when we all get together!! (Those adults are planning something called Pizza night, man I hope I at least get a bread stick this time!)

Sweet Potatoes!!

Piper has been refusing to eat for me for a while now. So today, I decided to see if she would feed herself if I filled her spoon with food and let her pick it up on her own. The results messy.....but good!!

6 months old

So I turned 6 months old on Friday and Daddy thought it would be fun to take some pictures of me with some of my parents favorite outfits from the past.

First Halloween Costume

Today Piper wore her first Halloween Costume, she picked it out herself while we were at the store a few weeks ago! She loves her Tinkerbell costume!!


And she can't wait to dress up tomorrow and hand out some candy to the other little kids (she is very sad mommy and daddy won't let her taste candy yet...)
