First Halloween Costume

Today Piper wore her first Halloween Costume, she picked it out herself while we were at the store a few weeks ago! She loves her Tinkerbell costume!!


And she can't wait to dress up tomorrow and hand out some candy to the other little kids (she is very sad mommy and daddy won't let her taste candy yet...)

Rolling

Piper has been Rolling from back to tummy for a while now but just couldn't get the hang of tummy to back so finally today she did it not once but twice! So as a prize we bought Piper a rolling ball that is supposed to help with crawling! So now she is relaxing after a hard weekend of playing with an applesicle getting ready to hop in the bath!

First Friends

I meant to post this one yesterday it goes along with the post from yesterday, I just ran out of quiet mommy time.

Piper was lucky she got to have her first time at a pumpkin patch with her first friends! We met Madalyn and Sophia (and their mommies Erica and Sara) through Cincinnatimommies.com We have had a lot of first with these two! Piper's first Splash Park, First Luau and now her first Pumpkin Patch! Dave and I hope that Piper's first friends will stay in her life for a long long time!!

Emotional Firsts

Piper is having a rough go of it lately, she has been suffering from separation anxiety. She has begun to get upset if Dave or I leave the room or walk away from her. It has been pretty upsetting to us, the most upsetting is that when she wakes up from her nap she screams horrible screams and it takes forever to calm her down. Her Daycare person went on vacation two weeks ago and since then she has been acting this way. She also stopped taking naps at Daycare and she isn't eating right. Hopefully when Miss Anita gets back, Piper will get back into her groove!

Introducing Miss Piper

Dave and I have waited our entire lives for our precious little one, she was the biggest surprise of our lives, but man oh man is she the best!

Miss Piper was born 5/5/10 at 6:15 am and she was 8lbs 5oz and 20 3/4 inches long. She lives with her mom (Sara), Dad (Dave) and her kitty cat (Coco). I have decided that since I can't seem to keep up with my calendar for her milestones, I will post them here for quick reference!

She rolled over for the first time on 9/20/10!!

And she sat for the first time today 10/12/10!

We can't wait to keep updating as she learns and experiences new things!
