I have been doing great on my crawling and am becoming super quick and more recently I started "pulling up" and "cruising", so today mommy and daddy decided to have me try out one of my Christmas gifts that I hadn't gotten to play with before:

8 months
So I turned 8 months old on the Fifth, mommy and daddy decided to take some new family pictures for my 8 month birthday!

Piper's new games
I have been playing a new game with mommy and daddy, it's called follow the leader. Mommy is in front and daddy is behind me and we crawl through the house to go get stuff. Mommy said she hopes this helps her lose weight! The other game I like to play is to go from laying to standing, even when mommy or daddy wants me to sit, I go straight up into standing and I get SO happy I start dancing! It is the best game!
Hopefully I will be able to talk Daddy into video taping me standing. Mommy said no videos of us crawling around cause her butt is too big!
In other news this week, I have been sick with something called croup :( It makes it pretty difficult for me to breath at night and one night I stopped breathing long enough to set the baby alarm off. So Mommy and Daddy took me to the Dr. and he gave me some steroids...man have they helped!

Crawling
I have been practicing my crawling for over a month now, and I think I finally got it down...what do you think?
Right before this video, daddy was on the phone with Uncle Jeff telling him all about my crawling, he told Uncle Jeff I was a little slow...I showed him after that, I took off and rush towards Coco. Daddy wished he had a video camera!
Here is an earlier video where Daddy thought he would temp me with Pizza (there are about 10 seconds of darkness right at the beginning when Daddy had to put the kitty in the bathroom, she was trying to eat the chicken mommy was shredding):
